Agenda: NONE!!! The only thing on the agenda is whatever you put on it yourself. You can work on quilting, hooking, knitting or whatever you want. Something that you have wanted to finish for a long time or something that might need a little help from a friend. You can get up as early as you want and stay up as late as you want, or check out the quilt shops/knitting shops in the area if you need some retail therapy too. Grab an afternoon nap or work out in the gym (no pool).

 

Who Comes: Anyone who wants to have fun and perhaps finish that Quilt project. Bring a friend that you want to spend a weekend with. Make new friends or find some “me” time. Quilters, hookers, fiber artists and knitters. Members and Non Members.

 

How long have we been going to Retreat? This is our 28th year but our first year at the Stonebridge and we are so very excited.

 

What to Bring: Everything you want to work on and the equipment to make it happen. Maybe an extra light if you need that at home. There will be a few ironing boards supplied and we will bring a couple of irons from the Centre—you are also welcome to bring your own. While hotel policy is that no additional food can be brought in, in your room you can have whatever you wish. Our usual snack table in the room is, however, fine and they are happy to let us bring in our own lunches on Friday or you can head over to the Pasto’s Grill attached to the hotel, and order a lunch to eat in there or take out. Every room has a fridge, microwave and Keurig.

 

Room check-in is 4:00 pm on Friday and check-out 11:00 am on Sunday, however, we will be there and quilting in the Ballroom from 9am Friday until Sunday at 5 pm.
